Zomajet – Animation Project

Project Details

A unique animation project I was commissioned to create for the Lime Advertising agency. The brief was to create an animation in 2D, with a stop motion/kids TV (Charlie & Lola) vibe, utilising the lovely illustrations provided.

Despite the potential hurdles, I elected to use my 3D software of choice; Cinema 4D, alongside Photoshop and After Effects, to create these 2D animated scenes and characters, since it's a production environment I understand fluently. There were still various technical obstacles and puzzles to overcome throughout the production, but it only made the challenge of its creation more enjoyable!

The final result was very well received, both by the children and health care professionals it directly benefitted, and along with its surrounding media package elements, also attained a gold star design award.

I intend to create a training video on the processes involved with this type of animation in Cinema 4D soon.
