Maxon UK recently asked me to create a video tutorial, based on a cover illustration I previously created for MacLife magazine (see below). I decided to give this new design a twist on the original image’s visual pun, of using the Apple logo as the shape of the wrench mouth, and bolt head, by using a love heart shape instead (see above!).

The tutorial takes you through the process of creating the wrench and bolt models, creating a simple studio type environment, as well as texturing and rendering the finished scene.
