I was commisioned by ArtOfUs/Apical to create a number of illustrations depicting their data gathering systems, in a number of uses, both domestically and commercially. Their technology utilises the 'internet of things' platform to gather human data via sensors and cameras, to enhance and monitor safety, gather retail/buying statistics, and inform of peoples movements and placement at any given time or situation.

The illustrations were created in a pseudo isometric viewpoint, but with some slight perspective to maintain a sense of realism and comfort for the viewer. Each batch of images represents the real-world layer(s) in full colour and detail, and then in turn a repesentational, greyscale and lined version, with all real humans being replaced by their 'avatar' to show how the sensors capture only the required, human data.
